This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use and protect the personal data of users of the net24.io website and customers of the Net24 service, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR — Regulation EU 2016/679) and applicable data protection laws.

2. Data collected
We collect the following data:
Subscription data:
name, company name, business email address, postal address, phone number, SIRET number, payment information (processed directly by Stripe; Net24 does not store full payment card data).
Service usage data:
connection and failover logs, monitoring data (connection status, triggered alerts), equipment technical data (identifier, firmware version, MAC address).
Browsing data:
IP address, browser type and version, operating system, pages visited, visit duration, traffic source, cookies (see section 6).
3. Purposes of processing
Collected data is used for:
- Customer account management and performance of the service contract
- Billing, collection and payment management via Stripe
- Technical supervision and service maintenance
- Technical support and request handling
- Service improvement and development of new features
- Service-related communications (technical alerts, updates, service information)
- Commercial prospecting relating to Net24 services
- Compliance with legal, tax and regulatory obligations
- Dispute management and debt collection
4. Legal bases
Processing is based on:
- Contract performance (GDPR Art. 6.1.b): account management, service provision, billing, support
- Legitimate interest of Net24 (GDPR Art. 6.1.f): service improvement, commercial prospecting, security, fraud prevention
- Legal obligations (GDPR Art. 6.1.c): tax, accounting obligations, log retention
- Consent (GDPR Art. 6.1.a): non-essential cookies, newsletter
5. Retention period
- Active customer data: for the duration of the contract and three (3) years after contract end
- Billing data: ten (10) years from financial year end (legal accounting obligation)
- Connection logs: twelve (12) months (legal obligation)
- Browsing data / cookies: thirteen (13) months maximum
- Prospecting data: three (3) years from last contact
6. Cookies
The net24.io site uses cookies:
Strictly necessary cookies: essential for site operation and security. They do not require consent.
Analytics cookies: used to analyse site traffic and usage to improve the site. Subject to prior user consent.
Marketing cookies: used for advertising campaign tracking and targeting. Subject to prior user consent.
Users may at any time accept, refuse or modify their cookie preferences via the consent banner on the site. Refusing non-essential cookies does not affect site functionality.
7. Data recipients
Personal data may be disclosed to the following categories of recipients:
- Stripe Inc.: payment processing (PCI-DSS certified)
- Vercel Inc.: site hosting
- Net24 technical subcontractors (supervision, monitoring, maintenance)
- Partner network operators, to the extent strictly necessary for Service performance
- Administrative or judicial authorities when required by law
- KLIKANGO legal and accounting advisers in the context of dispute management or legal obligations
Net24 ensures contractually that its subcontractors provide sufficient guarantees regarding personal data protection in accordance with GDPR Article 28.
8. Transfers outside the EU
Some of our subcontractors (including Stripe and Vercel) are established in the United States. These transfers are governed by:
- Standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission
- The EU-US Data Privacy Framework where applicable
- Any other appropriate safeguard in accordance with GDPR Chapter V
9. Security
Net24 implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, loss or destruction, including: encryption of data in transit (TLS), access control, regular backups, staff awareness.
10. Your rights
In accordance with the GDPR and applicable data protection laws, you have the following rights:
- Right of access (GDPR Art. 15): obtain confirmation of processing of your data and a copy thereof
- Right to rectification (GDPR Art. 16): correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Right to erasure (GDPR Art. 17): request deletion of your data in cases provided by law
- Right to restriction of processing (GDPR Art. 18): request restriction of processing in certain cases
- Right to data portability (GDPR Art. 20): receive your data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format
- Right to object (GDPR Art. 21): object to processing based on legitimate interest, including profiling
- Right to withdraw consent at any time for processing based on consent
- Right to set guidelines regarding the fate of your data after your death

We undertake to respond within one (1) month of receipt of the request. This period may be extended by two (2) months in case of complexity or a large number of requests. We may ask you to prove your identity.

11. Modifications
